Thank you for shopping with SHELF MADE. This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered within South Africa.
By placing an order with SHELF MADE, you agree to the terms below.
1. SHIPPING PROVIDER
SHELF MADE uses Aramex Store to Door for deliveries within South Africa.
Delivery services are subject to Aramex operational coverage and courier availability.
2. PROCESSING TIMES
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
Orders are not processed, packed, or dispatched on weekends or public holidays.
During high-volume periods, promotions, launches, holidays, or unforeseen operational delays, processing times may be extended.
3. DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES
Estimated delivery time is approximately 8–15 business days from the date of order received.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delivery delays may occur due to:
- courier delays;
- weather conditions;
- public holidays;
- load shedding;
- strikes or civil unrest;
- high shipping volumes;
- remote delivery locations; or
- circumstances beyond SHELF MADE’s reasonable control.
SHELF MADE shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party courier services.
4. SHIPPING FEES
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and may vary depending on the delivery location and order size.
Any applicable shipping promotions or free shipping offers will be communicated on the website.
Shipping fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable South African law.
5. DELIVERY AREAS
SHELF MADE currently ships within South Africa only.
Certain remote or outlying areas may experience longer delivery times.
6. ORDER TRACKING
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout where available.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and ensuring availability to receive deliveries.
7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers are responsible for:
- providing accurate delivery information;
- ensuring someone is available to receive the parcel; and
- ensuring delivery addresses are accessible to couriers.
SHELF MADE shall not be responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.
Additional courier fees resulting from failed deliveries or address corrections may be charged to the customer where applicable.
8. RISK AND DELIVERY
Risk in the products passes to the customer upon delivery to the delivery address provided in the order.
Customers should inspect parcels upon delivery and report any issues within 48 hours of receipt.
9. LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED PARCELS
If your parcel is lost, damaged, or arrives with missing items, please contact SHELF MADE as soon as possible at:

Claims relating to lost or damaged parcels are subject to courier investigation procedures and timelines.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
SHELF MADE shall not be liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- load shedding;
- internet outages;
- courier disruptions;
- strikes;
- riots or civil unrest;
- natural disasters;
- governmental actions; or
- supplier delays.
